Petroleum Instruments Co., Inc. is an oilfield drilling instrumentation repair, rental and service company serving the drilling instrumentation needs of the oilfield industry since 1978. Along with our two divisions, A-1 Sure Shot and Wedco Sales and Service, our knowledgeable and experienced sales and service staff are able to provide quality service to our customers 24 hours a day.

Terry Tidwell started Petroleum Instruments Company in 1978. This endeavor allowed him to set his own high standard of equipment repair and rebuilding of various types of drilling instrumentation.

After 16 years at his first location, the opportunity arose in 1994 to purchase a larger building on S.E. 25th in the heart of the oilfield district in Oklahoma City. It proved to be a prosperous move that led to the purchase of A-1 Sure Shot division in 1997. Our dedication to better service our valued customers and offer a wide range of products, services and pricing has included the purchase of Wedco Sales and Service in 2007.
